Mike recently retired from Procter & Gamble after a successful 36-year career as an innovation and supply chain executive.  During his career he had a proven track record as the product supply leader of four very different businesses.  He also led the initiative management process for both an existing business and for corporate New Business Creation.  Finally, he drove dramatic improvement in large organizations in the corporate environment and in manufacturing plants.

Core Knowledge

  • Innovation and Initiative Management– Managed front end, stage gate and portfolio management innovation processes. Led the development of a sector President’s leadership decision-making model for initiative management.  Helped establish the P&G tools for program management and initiative leadership.
  • Supply Chain Management– Managed large, complex, end-to-end supply chains delivering best in class results. Designed supply chains for new product initial consumer testing, lead market and launch. Delivered supply chain capability to enable the Olay brand to grow 3X and become a billion-dollar business with excellent cost, quality and customer service. Redesigned the supply chain for the $700MM North America Pringles business to dramatically lower cost, enable a reset of shelf pricing and improve profitability.
  • Organization Transition– Enabled a supply chain organization to achieve benchmark results as it transitioned into a divestiture. Led a new plant and supply chain from a recent acquisition to a fully integrated P&G business including a dramatic turnaround in safety, quality and reliability results.
